Camden County College offers three levels of basic reading skills pre-college courses. These prepare students for college-level reading assignments in English Composition I and other courses. Reading Skills 3 focuses on comprehension of short readings, analyzing them based on the topic, main idea, supporting details, patterns, purpose, audience, tone, point of view, and visual aids. It then moves to more critical analysis of longer readings.
